Fake Tan
A popular choice for brides, so if this is your plan please remember that it will be a good idea to have a trial run a few days before your makeup trial, this will give you a true reflection of exactly how your makeup will look.
Semi Permanent Lashes
At your trial I will offer strip or individual lashes which will remove when you take off your makeup.
If you are planning on getting Semi permanent lashes by a professional lash artist then I do suggest you have them done for your makeup trial.
Eye Brows
Getting your eyebrows groomed will help shape your face and enhance your eye makeup.
Just remember any hair removal can leave redness so don’t have them done the day before your wedding.
Looking After Your Skin
Take note of all my recommendations I give you at your trial.
• Drink plenty of water
• Remove your makeup correctly every night (especially the night before your wedding)
• Invest time in regular facials (whether it be in a salon or DIY at home)
• Treat your skin once a week to a face mask
• Don’t use harsh gritty exfoliators
• If you get a spot the night before your wedding DON’T touch it! I can cover spots but can not cover weeping open wounds.
Handy Items To Have On Your Wedding Day
SCISSORS – everything is new with tags!
SEWING KIT – you never know!
SAFTY PIN – bridesmaid#2 has not tried on her dress before now and her dress is too low!
CROCHET HOOK – to button up your dress (although I always use a grip)
MINTS – just before you walk down the isle you will get nervous and your mouth will dry up- don’t chew gum – have a mint handy.
NAIL FILE – in case your nail is rough and catches on your veil.
PLASTERS – I get asked at most weddings for a plaster!
MORNING PLAY LIST – fill your morning with songs that make you feel good.
SNACKS – it could be a long wait till your wedding breakfast- you don’t want to feel hangry on your wedding day.
TISSUE – for your proud parents.
SUPPLIERS CONTACT DETAILS – to hand over to your bridesmaids in case they get lost and need a quick contact.
Fears Of Tears
Allow your emotions, holding back tears will only cause an explosion when your off guard.
All you need to know is TAP Don’t RUB your makeup and nothing will ruin.
I will be on guard to dab your tear away with my trusty cotton bud on your wedding morning anyway.
Good Luck
Remember it’s good luck if it rains on your wedding day and bad luck if you see your groom the morning of the wedding.
Believe it or not I have seen some brides burying raw sausages for luck too- what ever you believe in- keep the traditions going.
